"Whiskey died in my arms. She had a quick illness. Cause was cancer of the liver (2 cm size lump) that metastasized into her lung. She had a cough from a partially collapsed lung. She managed to live through Nachos illness without giving us any grief and spent five weeks with our new puppy Yuki. She realized she had left us with a very loving puppy and finally gave up the fight one Sunday evening just after 8pm. Whiskey was the ultimate boat dog. She got very excited everytime we brought out her life jacket. Her favourite spot on the boat was above the cabin under the dodger. We do miss her a lot. It was tough to lose two dogs within a few weeks. Love you very much little princess!"

"Nacho was only with us for about 14-1/2 months. He passed away at the age of only 8 years. He had cancer. The mass took up 1/3 of his pelvis. It was very upsetting and one day he could no longer urinate and a catheter had to be inserted to relieve 500 mls of urine. We had to make the tough decision for euthanasia. We had a little bit of play before his time was up. He looked so sweet and playful as he was not suffering at that moment, but this was the only decision to make under the circumstances. Pugs have such wonderful personalities and I wish he had met our baby Yuki, as I know they would have been great pals. We love you Nacho and miss you a lot! Sometimes we even call Yuki "Nacho" in error as she reminds us of you in some ways. xoxox"
